Bay Garnett and Kira Jolliffe co-edited the ultimate cool girl fashion mag, Cheap Date and have just launched an obsessive new project together, featuring Breed artist Daisy de Villeneuve.
Fanpages features original contributions from the fashion, art and music world’s most wanted, including Chloë Sevigny, Joe McKenna, Stella Tennant, Joseph Szabo, Nick Knight and Rita Ora.
Daisy de Villeneuve features in the magazine and Kira Jolliffe is excited about the collaboration:
“I met Daisy through her talented sister Poppy, who was photographing a lot of pin-ups for Cheap Date. I immediately loved the combination of her somewhat brutal words mixed with a surprisingly expressive version of the satisfying felt-tip portraits traditionally made by 10 year old girls. I admire and envy that she’s made a career out of it. She’s an artist, a good friend and a dream to work with.”
