Becks 'Music Inspired Art'
Over the years the Becks' bottle has provided the canvas for heavyweights like Gilbert and George, Tracy Emin, Damien Hirst, and Jake & DIno Chapman, to name just a few.
Now Becks takes its collaborations even further with the 'Music Inspired Art' campaign. Ten artists have been commissioned to reimagine the covers of some of the most iconic albums of the past four decades, using the music as the inspiration. Both Kate Moross and Si Scott have been selected to take part, tackling Prince's 'Purple Rain' and Interpol's 'Turn on the Bright Lights' respectively. Here's Si Scott's image.

Gap
To celebrate the launch of it's fall (PRODUCT)RED Artist Edition T-Shirt Collection, GAP opened it's doors to a pop up art gallery over on 5th Avenue, New York.
The featured artists range from the up and coming to the well established, with unique paintings, sculptures and sketches, including work by James Joyce.
The t-shirts featuring the artwork are now available with fifty percent of all profits going to the global fund to help eliminate aids in Africa.

This month James Joyce has been working with Red Bee Media on a series of outdoor ads that you can see right here.
Meanwhile, James has been collaborating with Wallpaper to produce an army knife design for Victorinox, and alongside Steven Wilson, he'll be appearing in this years prestigious D&AD annual.

Suburbia
Lee Swillingham and Stuart Spalding are the creative duo behind Love Magazine and Suburbia Art Direction and Design. This month, Steve Wilson has been working with them on a fashion project that we can't reveal, for now.
In addition Steve has been working with Universal to produce a compilation album cover for Powerhouse, as well as working with Greys Paris for Escada and Line Skis for a 2010 design, but again you'll have to wait before we can show you these.
However, we can now reveal the image that Steve created for Penquin, entitled 'Shades of Grey' by Jasper Fforde.

Wapping Project
Wondering what Si Scott's current views are on art and design? Then join us at the Wapping Project on the 16th September, when he'll be giving a talk on just that.

Si Scott was selected to be published in the Luerzer's Archive, 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2009/2010. The selection was made from 44 countries, and only those nominated by an ad agency art director were eligible to enter.
In addition, Si has also been working with TBWA in Dubai, as well as Mother, Plato Design, and producing an editorial artwork for the LA Times.
Kate Moross
Kate Moross will be showcased in an upcoming issue in Nylon Magazine. The feature being about current 'It Girls'. We'll let you know when the issue is out.
Keeping with Nylon, Neal Murren is illustrating his interpretation of the new Lars Von Trier 'Anti Christ' poster. This issue will be out in October.
In other Kate related news she has been working on a collaboration with R. Newbold. R.Newbold has it's roots in utilitarian work wear, and the brand has always mixed old and new with the creativity of British youth culture. It's this combination of tradition with modernity that's behind their latest collaboration with Kate Moross. Kate's illustrations will be shown in Japan, in October this year. We'll show you the artwork as soon as the product becomes available.

The Economist
This September The Economist releases an issue based on the theme of polymaths, we're not sure if it's that reason Masa was asked to take part, but you can catch his contribution on the news shelves from the 1st September.
In other MASA news, he has just been commissioned to produce six exclusive artworks for the new Nike Sportswear Store opening in Mexico. You can see one here.

'Off Brief' - Hong Kong
Breed will be present at an event for the Hong Kong creative community next month. 'Off Brief', which will be held on the 5th September, 10:30pm - 03:00am at a central bar/gallery called 'Philia Lounge' is an event for creative directors from the HK4A's (Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies) and will showcase work from Breed artists.
