Nike

Danny Sangra works with Nike, Beaverton this month to produce a series of designs for their Summer 2011 Sportswear line. Here's a taster. 

Harrods and Future Brand  

Harrods commissioned Si Scott this month to produce artwork for their in-store reward card 'Redeem Yourself'.  We can now show you the work Si created for Future Brand, Milan last month for the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo. 

Steven Wilson

Next Door London are currently working with Steven Wilson alongside Mainframe on a new animated piece for Blackberry. The animation will be a narrative, demonstrating the seamless functions and slick design of the new Blackberry Pearl. We'll show you more as the project develops, but this gives you an idea of what's to come.

Steven's also working with Atlantic Records, New York this month creating the forthcoming single and album artwork for English R&B singer-songwriter Estelle.  

Le Book Connections - Germany

Away from its usual locations, Le Book has added a stop off in Hamburg, Germany to this year's events and Breed will be there on March 23rd and 24th. The show will be held at Deichtorhallen, home of photography and contemporary art.

Neal Murren

Neal Murren has had a busy start to the year.  As well as working with Orion Publishing, he was also commissioned by the Sunday Times Magazine to illustrate a short story by Helen Oyeyemi. 
The image has the sinister air of a jealous woman in a black veil creeping up on the innocent, radiant child as she asks the dark apparition to play snap. 

Plus this month Neal Murren is working with Tappin Gofton on the forthcoming album and singles campaign for Detroit Social Club. Neal will be collaborating with photographer David Hughes using a combination of pencil drawing/pen and ink and linear graphic work. 

We will show you Neal's work as the narrative unfolds. The first single 'Kiss The Sun' is due out on 1st March 2010. 

Revenge is Sweet

As well as working with Show Media, The Guardian commissioned Revenge is Sweet last month for a cover guide illustration based around the Channel 4 show Skins. They produced a type/ graphic work to promote the new series. 

In addition, Design Week commissioned Revenge is Sweet to produce a cover illustration for their Hot 50 supplement, Hot 50 is essentially a round-up of people making a difference in design today. 

Pick Me Up  

Last month we mentioned the event Pick Me Up, a contemporary graphic art fair at Somerset House running from April 23rd to May 3rd. Summerset House is promoting graphic design in an attempt to bring the discipline to a wider audience.

Rose Stallard, Paula Castro and James Joyce have been commissioned to create artwork to be sold at an exhibition which includes a great line-up of artists/ collectives. 

Natasha Law

We're pleased to announce that Natasha Law is holding an exhibition at London's Eccleston Street gallery 'Eleven' in which she continues her investigation of body shapes and their potential for abstraction. Experimenting with new palettes and textures, she is presenting seven new works on aluminium, all featuring bright summer shades. Natasha will also be creating large wall drawings of slender entwined figures. 

The exhibition entitled Close/Closer runs from March 18th - April 17th. 

Si Scott Y & R Schweppes

George Patterson Y& R Melbourne in collaboration with Schweppes have commissioned Si to work on their 1+1=3 mixing campaign. As part of their 'Magic of Mixing' print campaign, they've asked Si along with other leading graphic artists to bring this formula to life in whatever way they see fit - whatever colour, shape or texture the artist desires.

Danny Sangra

This month sees the launch of knitwear label AMS from Danny Sangra and Lynnda Needles. Their first collection involved a collaboration with British heritage knitwear company Corgi who also collaborated recently with Comme des Garçons.

As well as designing the knit prints, Danny art directed the shoot for the look-book and created the video for the collection. Go to Danny's film section in his portfolio to see the full video.
