Love & Money

Eye
This month, Eye magazine - the international review of graphic design - features an article on James Joyce, plus over on the Eye blog, you'll find a piece about Secret Blisters, the screen printing event that took place in Dalston last month.

Secret Blisters
On the 26th June, Print Club hosted Secret Blisters, with 35 illustrators taking part and 35 edition hand signed prints from anonymous artists.
As an example you can see MASA's Secret Blisters print here.

Danny Sangra
We're very pleased to announce the latest addition to our agency. Danny Sangra, the artist, illustrator and designer whose recent exhibition 'Season Of The Witch' was described as 'porn scratchings' by Dazed.
He will be joining officially next month, so look out for more then.

Simian Video
Kate Moross has produced and directed the video for the new single from Simian. You can see for yourself over in Kate's portfolio, plus a couple of the stills here.


Steven Wilson
Steven Wilson will be working with Sunday Publishing again this month, but we can't show you the imagery just yet. No, you'll have to wait until next month we're afraid, but watch this space. Steve is also producing two designs for an Adidas t-shirt range, but again, we can't show you the images until a later date.

Steven Wilson was commissioned by DDB London for a series of pieces for the Harvey Nichols summer sale.

Neal Murren
Following up some great work last year, Neal Murren has once again been commissioned by M&C for more work on Transport for London and the Notting Hill Carnival 2009.
A little while back we told you that Neal Murren was producing new illustrations for James Palumbo's fantastical debut novel, Tomas. The book has now been released, to rave reviews from the likes of Stephen Fry, Niall Ferguson and Noel Fielding, and you can see all the artwork - and a new animation - in Neal's portfolio.

ATC Management
Master Shortie has been one of the big tips for 2009 with his kaleidoscopic brand of British hip hop and Kate Moross has been working to produce the rapper's logo, as well as working on the single; 'Dead End' out on the 6th July, and the album, 'A.D.H.D' out 27th July.

Revenge Is Sweet
Revenge is Sweet are the latest Breed artists to be commissioned for the Gap (RED) t-shirt project which generates money and awareness for the global funds life saving efforts in Africa. The range isn't out until January next year, but you can see one of the illustrations from the series here first.

Mr and Mrs Smith
Mr and Mrs Smith, the online boutique hotel specialists, have launched their latest music cd, described as a “staggeringly enjoyable and brilliantly surprising romp through a genre-hopping array of the classic and the contemporary” which features Natasha Law's selection of Marquee Moon by Television alongside picks from Lauren Laverne and Roland Mouret.
The launch will take place on the 3rd of Sept and we'll keep you posted with further info nearer the time.

Vauxhall Skate
Vauxhall Motors have teamed up with some of the hottest musical, design and style talents around to present Vauxhall Skate, which will take place at Village Underground in Shoreditch on 29th July.
As well as DJs like Carl Barat, the Queens of Noize and Remi Nicole, the roller disco event will feature a new commission by our very own Kate Moross.
It's invitation only and hosted by Dazed & Confused, but you can find out more:


David Collins
Si Scott has been working with David Collins Studio to create a new boutique 250-seat arts theatre in Kilkenny, Ireland. Inspired by the likes of The Savoy and Wilton's Music Hall, Set gives the classical theatre look a thoroughly contemporary twist, with eclectic décor and bold illustrations from Si.
Expect avant-garde curation, installations, fashion shows and burlesque as well as plays, performances and parties.
