Nike

Both Kate Moross and Steven Wilson have been commissioned by Nike Portland to create artwork for their 2010 T-shirt collection with their own interpretations of 'Just Do It'.

Steve was inspired by a recent developed style, referencing to his personal work: the ribbon tiger and Neon series. You can see his work here.

Si Scott has also been commissioned by Nike Portland to produce visuals for Manchester United, with six illustrations in total including re-imaginings of the club logo, motto and mascot. We'll show these images when we can.

Blisters

The next Blisters event takes place on 26th June in conjunction with Laurence King Publishing and the pre-launch of the book 'For Love and Money' by Liz Farrely and Olivia Triggs.

Breed artists featured include Kate Moross, Rose Stallard, James Joyce, Revenge is Sweet, Si Scott, Steven Wilson, Paula Castro and MASA.

D&AD

Steven Wilson's recent campaign for nycgo.com has been selected to appear in the D&AD Annual 2009. Commissioned by the advertising agency BBH-USA, Steve's series of images each represent an iconic aspect of New York to accompany the line, 'Ask New York City about New York City'.

D&AD jurors only select work that they consider to be definitive examples of creativity for each year. Only 7% of all entries are chosen so this is a particularly impressive achievement.

David Collins Studio

This month, Si Scott will be working with the David Collins Studio to develop graphics for a new theatre based in Ireland called 'Set' - a multifunctional theatre and outdoor space that will stage music, dance, performance, cabaret and fashion events.

Look out for next month's news when we'll be able to show you the image.

We can now show you the design that Si created for the Diesel NYC exhibition, entitled 'True Love Waits'.

Glastonbury

Kate Moross is going to Glastonbury. Not only will her work feature in print ads for the 'Road to Glastonbury' Playstation competition, she'll also be producing illustrations for the festival itself, including imagery for the screens around the main stage, the official programme and elements of advertorial in Q magazine's daily newspaper.

We'd also like to mention '143', a shopping experiment art directed by Kate. It opened for two weeks from the 10th May; and included a limited run of 143 t-shirts from Gio-Goi, each screen printed and individually numbered by Kate, as well as Kate's Isotee Series of T-shirts, paying homage to the likes of La Roux and Simian Mobile Disco, Telepathe, Metronomy and a number of new designs.

Graniph

We've previously mentioned James Joyce's collaboration with Graniph (one of the designs can be seen here).

The Japanese t-shirt company have produced a new series featuring two of James's illustrations, 'This, This and This' and 'Enjoy'.

Natasha Law

British luxury accessories designer Beatrix Ong joined forces with handmade luxury luggage brand Globe-Trotter to create an exclusive limited edition range of illustrated travel cases.

We've previously mentioned the collaboration with Natasha Law but we are now able to show you the eye-catching print which celebrates Ong's signature men and women's shoes.

Natasha is also exhibiting in Tokyo this month, at the Paul Smith gallery space. It opens on Thursday 28th May and is called 'Ok...Alright'.

Seven Squared

As the official magazine of the Lawn Tennis Association, Ace Magazine is full on information with everything about the sport, particularly in the summer when the Wimbledon issue is the largest of the year.

Steven Wilson has been commissioned by Seven Squared to produce a series of six illustrations for the issue in a feature called 'In the shadow of Murray'.

Wired

Revenge Is Sweet were commissioned by Wired Magazine to produce a full page illustration for an article, 'How to win a debate'.

You can catch their work in the next issue, or see it first here.

Yael Landman

Yael Landman is one of the most avant-garde designers in lingerie and last month we mentioned that Si Scott would be working with her, providing illustrations for her new collection.

Well, now we can exactly what he's been up to, with his new logo and campaign imagery.

Yael's new collection will also be available at Selfridges in the Autumn.

This month Si has also done two talks about his work. One at AIGA - Philadelphia University and the second at the OFFF Design Festival - Lisbon / Portugal.

Masa

Masa recently worked on a collaboration with the Venezuelan electronic dance band called 'Los Amigos Invisbles'. Masa was responsible for the art direction, design and illustration of this new album entitled 'Commercial'.

As you can see here he has created using a blend of collage and geometric shapes; a surrealistic atmosphere that compliments the electronic and latin sound.

He also worked this month, with one of Mexico's hottest indie bands; the Mexican Institute of Sound 'Soy Sauce'. Using digital and handrawn elements to give visuals for Cumbia, Hip-Hop, Electronica, Mariachis and rock sounds.
