Revenge is Sweet
Another something new from Revenge is Sweet - 'The Devil Dancer' inspired by the vaudeville era, dark and theatrical, it calls on imagery & type styles from the period. Re-interpreted into a new typographic work using the Revenge is Sweet illustrative montage style.

Steven Wilson
This month, Steve's been creating album artwork for Joe Echo. Having spent much of 2009 touring with the likes of The Script, Paolo Nutini and James Morrison, as well as the small matter of co-writing 'Celebration' with someone called Madonna, Joe is just about to embark on his own headline tour. Meanwhile Steve's been working with The Brand Union in Stockholm and producing artwork for the Jersey Live summer festival in early September headlined by Paul Weller and Kate Nash.

Kate Moross
As well as working with Beattie McGuiness Bungay and The Guardian this month, Kate has also got together with the people at Firetrap to create a special series of watch faces - pictures coming soon.
Kate is also just back from LA where she was a member of the Output Jury 2010 - one of the largest international competitions for design and architecture students.
And remember last month we mentioned that Kate was taking part in the Ralph Lauren Polo Jeans exhibition at Selfridges? Well, here it is.

Nike
Tied Together, a global Nike initiative to raise awareness around (RED) and the fight against HIV and Aids, is organizing a six day multi-sport relay race across six cities in the run up to the World Cup.
Each city has formed creative teams - including FADER, Colette, Wasted German Youth, Guggenheim, Javier Perez Gallery, Opening Ceremony, Honeyee, Supreme, MTV - and Kate Moross is working with up to 15 teams to produce their team logo and identity. Kate is also the creative director for the Tied Together Installation and Exhibition at the 1948 venue in East London, while Rosie Lee will look after the creative, design and project management.
Breed
Coming up from Breed, Si Scott is working with art director Victoria Maddocks on a soon to be revealed project, as well as the film credits for a documentary called 'Tuvalu' about the environmental impact of rising sea levels.
Also, be sure to grab a copy of 'Existence', the new album from Detroit Social Club with cover illustration by Neal Murren - it's out on the 31st May.

And finally, Rose Stallard is busy with work for the Greenwich Comedy Festival, as well as some really exciting work with The Guardian (taster here), that will adorn the muddy fields of Glastonbury this summer.

Design Week
Every year Design Week puts together its pick of the UK's leading design agencies for its Top 100 Supplement. Everyone wants to be in it, and this year, Masa has produced the cover illustration plus some additional pieces inside - one of which you can see below.

Drapers Record
It's the leading magazine in fashion retail, and its 20 years old this year. To celebrate Drapers have got Si Scott involved to create the identity for their 20th anniversary , along with the cover for a special 80 page commemorative book around the history of Drapers Awards. The anniversary party will be at the end of August, while the books out from the 7th August and it looks like this.

James Joyce
This August, Wallpaper* subscribers will be able to create their own custom magazine covers and have them sent to their door. James Joyce will join four other leading artists in providing a library of icons and shapes for subscribers to play with. You'll also find James featured in the next issue of Creative Review in a feature about post production techniques. James collaborated with The 3D Agency to realise some of his images into three dimensional sculptures.

Finally James has launched his own iPad App with Granimator this month. His Designer Pack allows Apple ipad users to create their own artworks using a pallette of James Joyce icons and save them as screensavers and wallpaper for their iPad or iPhone. Granimator has been developed by UsTwo TM to coincide with the UK launch of the ipad. The Granimator app is free to download and the additional Designer Packs of select artists, including James's, can be bought through itunes at apple.com.
